I am hoping to compile a list of computer games Geography teachers- especially for GCSE and KS3 levels- have used to teach students. I have found a few useful ones that the students have enjoyed and learned from. Here is my list so far- Climate challenge (global warming) www.bbc.co.uk/sn/hottopics/climatechange/ climate_challenge Food force (food shortages and aid) www.food-force.com 3rd world Farmer (farming, life in LEDCs) http://www.3rdworldfarmer.com What others are there for other topics? I like some of these. I spent about an hour after school trying to beat the virtual sweat shop- did not fare well. It is a good short activity my students would get into. I want to keep this topic going because I feel like there are more game out there. I agree a blog is also a good idea. I amy do this alter.
